:DESIGN OF NEUROMORPHIC CIRCUITS WITH RESISTIVE MEMORIESAbstract:
Brain inspired neuromorphic computing requires scalable devices for artificial neurons and synapses. Resistive memories provide an attractive technology thanks to low current, analogue programming and bio-realistic dynamic behavior, such as transient decay of conductance and stochastic switching. This project aims at the design of spiking neuromorphic circuits with resistive switching synapses and neurons to develop hardware accelerators for cognitive computing and NP-hard optimization problems.
