Accurate estimation of position and orientation of high-performance cars is of utmost priority. It assists the driver and central control to analyze and make the best strategy to win the race. This can be done by processing the data available from the sensors mounted on car, track references and radar or other communication systems available. Since during the race, every millisecond counts to be ahead of your opponents. This creates a need to design a system which can predict the car position in future which can help in strategizing the race.
Such systems are already designed but there is always a room forimprovement. With the availability of more sensors and more accurate data, there is a need to design a new system. This new product will innovate the idea of estimating the position and orientation of vehicle in more efficient and faster way. Our theme is to use maximum data in minimum amount of time to predict the future position of car.In order to do so we need to develop a system which uses all the available sensor data, uses optimized amount of resources and uses least amount of time. During race, every microsecond counts and when the cars are moving at the speed of 300km/s it is very crucial to predict the position and orientation accurately in minimum amount of time.
