Major Research topic:
Study and Development of Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) for High Resolution and High Speed X and Gamma ray Spectroscopy
Abstract:
The research has the aim of developing front-end electronics for a new generation of radiation detectors able to work at ultra high rate of aquisition (<10 Mc/s) with high spectroscopic resolution at room temperature, today unavailable at the current state of the art. The main target application is their use in advanced real time non-conformity ispections in foodstuff production facilities.
