Abstract:
The main research topic deals with a new MEMS accelerometer sensor and related electronics to fullfil the requirements of high-end applications such as inertial navigation systems embedded in drones and aircrafts, ships and for other maritime applications both underwater and on surface. The architecture of the exiting control strategies, around the sensor, needs to be deeply analysed and redesigned in order to exploit new techological constraints.
