Perception of the environment and in specific cases motion planning for self-driving vehicles.
This research project focuses on the perception of the environment by self-driving vehicles, mainly in an urban context. In particular, we deal with camera-Lidar data fusion methods for detection, classification and estimation of pose and speed of vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, etc. For some vehicles and for specific objectives, the motion planning and control part is also addressed.
