In the last few years, several innovative technological tools have been developed to support human learning. Among them, Virtual Reality is one of the most known tools, and learning in Virtual Environments has been studied in depth. However, new tools are emerging nowadays (like the GeoMagic Touch, developed by 3D Systems), and it is still not so clear how they can affect human learning processes.

This research work aims not only to investigate these new tools and their impact on human learning but also to integrate these tools with the immersion that Virtual Reality can offer. The expectation is that this integration can offer an improvement in the learning experience from both the learning and the user experience point of view.
